DST and the Effects on Shift Workers.

For those of you who listened to the LinkedIn Live session here are the links to the studies I was referring to

OSHA – 5.7% increase in injuries following Monday after DST. They also found that 40 mins was the approximate after loss of sleep during Sunday DST.

2022 Study finding that there was an increase of 22% in road fatalities when clocks where not aligned with the sun.

Michigan Medicine, found that there was a 24% jump in heart attacks following Monday after DST.

According to a Neurology Professor Dr. Karin Johnson at UMAs found that during DST overall we lose about 19 mins of sleep on average per night.
